National Cash Register, Dayton Ohio
Ticket box
Date 1900's?
Nickel plated cast iron.
Grade 1
This is called a ticket box. They were
sold as a supply item with the cash register. It could be used for many things.
Collecting tickets, charge sales receipts, etc. It has a lock and the sales
slips could be collected and processed by the one that had the key. This one has
been newly nickel plated and I have taken the liberty of lining the insides with
blue velvet. Normally tit is the rough casting and a galvanized
bottom.
