This register is very unique. It has a personalized lid name plate "Crystal Maze". The model "5 1/2" is very early in the national line.
When I received this machine it had been painted many times. I glass beaded it & came out a nice pink color. I could have continued by polishing it but decided that it looked great this way & I clear coated it.
I cleaned & repaired the rest of the machine, including repainting & lettering the indicator plus refinishing the base & drawer. It has the original deliver label underneath the drawer. It has glass key checks but the .05 & .10 are cracked. They still cleaned up nice.
I'm offering it in what I think is grade 2 condition but If you buy it & want to pay to have the restoration completed, I can do it.
