A Final Note on Grading
The more familiar you are with the different cash registers,
the more you will understand what to buy and what to stay away from. Always try
to bargain. Be willing to spend money and be willing to make mistakes. That's
the only way to really learn.
The collector that is on a shopping or buying trip should
always have a complete set of keys for each style of machine. Also a small
magnet to see if a machine is steel or brass. The more familiar that you are
with cash registers, the better shopper that you will be. If you depend on the
seller for guidance, make sure of his credentials and honesty.
