Brass Cash Registers

Front and Back Name Plates
The next change was what they call the wide scroll pattern. They cast the following name right in cabinet. This had to be an expense type of casting, so you don't see a lot of them. Most are screwed on.

The rest of my examples are the screw on kind. You will find a great # of machines with 2 holes where there used to be a sign.

Some of these are repro's but you can tell because the casting will be just a little short of the edge of the under side square. The first 2 are original and the last is a repro.

They also did the same on the back but no where near as often as the front.
